Research Centre Facilities: BOD Incubator, Blood Analyzer, Cooling Centrifuge, Automatic Tissue Processor, Cryostat Microtome, Inverted Microscope, Trinocular microscope with Camera, Autoclave, Rotary Microtome, Dissecting Microscopes, Computers with Printer and Internet facility, Phase Contrast Microscope.
Policy for promotion of research: Students are encouraging to participate in research work, Avishkar and other competitions, MSc & BSc final year Students are guided for Research Projects by all staff members. Provision of Research journals, Reference Books, Poster Competition, ICT facilities.
Field visit: To ZSI, Various research Laboratories, NCL, DNA Barcoding Centre Aurangabad (MoU), Water Resources, Bird Sanctuary, Apiculture Centers, Fisheries Centre etc.
Thrust areas of Research: Toxicology, Parasitology, Ethnozoology, Fisheries
